Fire crews are responding to a fire along Highway 395 south near Red Rock north of Reno.
The fire started just before 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
The fire appears to have been knocked down shortly after crews responded.
NDOT cameras show smoke next to the roadway.
There's no immediate word on how the fire started, or when it will be contained.
