Daniel McKenna Obituary, Death – Daniel L. McKenna, a beloved resident of Hatboro, Pennsylvania, left this world on Monday, December 11, 2023, at the age of 42. Born on December 3, 1981, in Abington, Pennsylvania, he was the cherished son of Gerald Patrick McKenna Jr. and Rosann McKenna (nee – Prodorutti). Daniel is survived by his adored son, Max McKenna, sister Briege Hartman, brother-in-law Chris Hartman, and nephew Colin Hartman. He is also remembered fondly by uncles John McKenna and Dennis McKenna, as well as his aunt, Mary Ellen McKenna, a Sister of Mercy.

Daniel’s early education took place at St John Bosco elementary school, and he later graduated from Hatboro Horsham High School. At the time of his passing, he was a valued employee at Decor Home Furniture & Mattresses in Willow Grove. The family expresses gratitude to his employers, especially Fred and King, for the kindness and camaraderie extended to Daniel during his tenure.

A sports enthusiast, Daniel played CYO basketball for five years and was an avid supporter of the Philadelphia Eagles, proudly declaring, “Go Birds!” His interests extended to a passion for muscle cars, and he possessed a remarkable ability to repair anything mechanical, electrical, or plumbing-related. Daniel found solace and joy at the shore, indulging in his love for fishing, with Mason’s Mill Park being a cherished destination to share with his son, Max.

In addition to his immediate family, Daniel’s memory is accompanied by the spirit of his late grandparents, Gerald and Helen McKenna, and John and Florence Prodorutti. To honor and celebrate his life, a private service will be held. The McKenna family expresses heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of support during this difficult time. Daniel will be remembered not only for his skills and hobbies but also for the love and warmth he shared with those fortunate enough to have known him.
